Name: R. Anderson
Email: ronwandeatbellsouthdotnet Product: Firefox Summary: Creeping Featuritis Comments: Folks, It seems with each new "upgrade" of Firefox it grows larger and larger and LARGER and has more new features that are not needed in a web browser, nor are they used by me. It now takes over 30 seconds to load Firefox on my 2 Gigahz PC! It seems several times a week there is an "upgrade" that has to be installed before Firefox will start, further increasing the delay in getting the browser up and running. I think it is time to switch to another browser. You can't leave something good alone but have to continue to add new gadgets until it is totally outgrown it's usefulness. While I have your ear, I feel the same way about Thunderbird. The latest release is bogged down with "indexing" my Emails every time I start it up. Back to Outlook Express! I've been a user of both for several years now. How about a stripped down version of both being made available for users who don't want to wait all day for useless features to load?
