tool bar and other buttons
I would like to have all the controls and buttons on the left side,
vertically on the browser.
This is where i recently put the windows tool bar on my widescreen
laptop.
On the right side would do, but if both are on the left it would be
easy for someone to look at page from right side or you could help
someone work browser from the left, as well as a bigger up and down
view.
Once I form the new habit I think I will like this way much better.

Title Your Mozilla Browsers
I have an idea for an add on and it is summarized as follows:
I jut thought of an idea from personal experience to be added on to
firefox. I think that you should be able to title each different web
window you have open. I am currently writing a term paper and I have a
window for music and email, a window for google books, and a window
for possible sources. Each window has multiple tabs and it's just like
a little filing system. It would be cool if I could click a window
then click the title bar (or something else) and type a title like:
'Media' for my music/email page and such. This

Mac Firefox 3.6 behaviour with local files
I would like Mac Firefox 3.6 to use the same setting for opening local
files as it uses for opening new web pages. In other words, it should
open the local file in a new tab, not a new window if I have that
setting enabled in Preferences > Tabs. Why have it not open directly to
the local file if it is not running already, instead of opening the
window on the home page, and forcing me to double-click the local file
again, only to have that open in a new window?
Why does this behaviour happen only in Mac Firefox and not in Windows
Firefox?

Mode "Snapshot" for view pages.
Hi to all!
I search extension which can draw a page and delete the all data from
memory of this page.
What profit of that?
On my browser always opened about a 20 tabs and most tabs was opened
for only looking, not for serfing.
In this case enought load the data of page -> draw on screen and
delete the all page data from memory.
So we get "light" page, without DOM, plugins, etc..
I think this mode will be profit.
I had say not only about extionsion, may be will be good have in the
built-in functionality.

Tabs like in Google Chrome and link completion
Hi,
I wish tabs like in Google Chrome. So have have more space for the
important web content. And most user do not read the title of a webpage

Otherwise I wish URL completion when you are typing in the adressbar

For example you are tpying wikpedia and he shows the first entry its
most something with subfolder like
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudolf_Schmidt.
Thats not very intelligent I think. First it should shows the mainpage,

Automatic offline mode
Current versions of Firefox and Thunderbird poll the operating system's
network connectivity status at start-up and continuously while running,
and automatically switch to offline mode whenever connectivity is not

What's more, the on/offline status indicator that used to be located to
the far left in the status bar on the Mozilla Comm. Suite (and may still
be present in Seamonkey) is no longer present in Firefox (at least, as
of ver. 3). So the user attempts to access a web page, g

Thunderbird 3 is marking deleted email messages as read whether they

However, some HTML editors may need to check what is pasted in an editable document for any reason.
In content management systems, sometimes especially developed for intranet and used by a customer who

They should be able to authorize some functionalities for the system in their domain name.
My suggestions are:

Simple really. I have 10+ email accounts, lots of rss feeds and a huge

about multiple tabs within a tab? I believe we would all find such a

Close last tab
Hi,
Until FF v3.5 when the last tab was closed a new empty tab
would appear. Now it is not possible to close the last tab. To
emulate this behaviour I have to open a new tab and close the
non-empty one.
It would be really nice to have the old behaviour back. (If
necessary, via an option.)
Cheers,

Bookmark Toolbar glitch not fixed
Why is it that the bug with the Bookmark Toolbar not spreading the
bookmarks out horizontally in Firefox 3.5 is not fixed yet? It was
there in the beta versions, in FF 3.5, and is still there in FF 3.5.2.
I was obliged to add an extension to get the bookmarks to appear
properly, and it is still needed.

Windows 7 Taskbar progress bar for downloads
Hello,
The I would like a really simple modification: as the title says, the
new Windows 7 feature which lets the shell add a progressbar in the
taskbar icon is really nice, and it's easy to implement. The progress
bar should indicate the total download progress.
Thank you, and keep up the good work.

Add-Ons Windows
Hi,
I noticed that Firefox uses add-ons that are not explicit installed for
Firefox. How does that work?
It might be that there is a system directory for add-ons, which is used
by any browser, so no browser can uninstall these add-ons. Where are they?
I'd wish for an option to disable the use of add-ons, that are not
explicit installed to the Firefox-directory - does that already exist?
Thanks,
Phil

As many here might know, the state of the file: URI scheme in firefox

So my questions are:

Firefox 3.5 bookmarks toolbar needs fixing
The bookmarks toolbar in Firefox 3.5 keeps contracting to just a
dropmarker instead of spreading the bookmarks out in a row as it used to
do. One can see the bookmarks spread out by opening and closing the
Customize window, but this does not last longer than the current
session. This is annoying. It would be nice if that were fixed.

I would really like to be able to manually rename

I've seen a few similar suggestions during a search

other details. I would like to be able to enter a

Firefox 3.5 deficiencies
I briefly tried Firefox 3.5b4, and noticed that a couple of things were

Why is there no longer a dialog box to clear private data? Apparently

Improved editor
I have used Microsoft Outlook as my default email client since day 1,
I think, but left it a couple of months in favour of Mozilla
Thunderbird, ago tired of the stability problems in the Outlook
Profile handling, (Windows Messaging Subsystem). The move fitted well
with my change from POP to IMAP.
After three months of using Thunderbird I dare say that the editor

should be configurable so every user can choose to enable it.

(terms "master" and "slave" are used only for MTD).
if master table is not represented in the same html-document,
where slave is (created by "select '<table name=3D"A">'"),
then new separate browser window will appear, and content of master table=
will shown in it.
master and slave table must be bound by only one foreing key in database.
